Hey there! I'm Clarissa, a true creative spirit who was lucky enough to grow up in an environment bursting with artistic vibes. Born and raised in the vibrant city of Sao Paulo, Brazil, I naturally developed my own unique way of expressing myself through art and photography.
After studying Arts and Photography at the awesome University FAAP in Sao Paulo, I felt the itch to explore new avenues. That's when I made the leap across the pond to the United States, landing at the renowned Rhode Island School of Design (RISD). There, I dove headfirst into the captivating world of Jewelry Design, pushing my creativity to new heights.
But life had a funny way of leading me down unexpected paths. While vacationing in Maui, Hawaii, I stumbled upon the exhilarating sport of kitesurfing, and boy, did it change everything! I fell head over heels for the adrenaline rush and the sheer joy of soaring through the air. So, without hesitation, I decided to make the islands of Hawaii my new playground.
For six epic years, I lived and breathed kitesurfing, competing and traveling the globe. Little did I know that this incredible adventure would unlock a hidden talent within me - photography. As an athlete and model for my sponsors, I found myself on the other side of the lens, experiencing the magic of capturing moments in a whole new way.
Fast forward to today, and I'm now a proud mama, taking a break from the competitive kitesurfing scene. But you know what? It's allowed me to refocus my energy and passion on my true love: photography. Whether it's immortalizing the beauty of weddings, capturing the love and joy of families, or exploring the wonders of nature, I pour my heart and soul into every shot.
